Follow these steps to cancel your flights properly. First, open your browser and go to United's official website. Please return to the homepage and click your My Trips option. You will then enter your booking confirmation number and first name and last name as appropriate in the fields. After that, you can click on the search tab to view your flight details. After that, from the menu, pick the flight you wish to cancel and press the cancel button close to it.
