About The Event
Why should I care about land use regulations? What is planning and land use? What are land use regulations? What does zoning mean? What is subdivision about? If you have asked yourself any of these questions you must come to the final Delta County Land Use Community Forum, where we will dig into land use planning, and learn more about the different tools that planners use.
The next forum is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 5:30p – 7:00p, at Technical College of the Rockies’ Enterprise Room, in Delta.
Don Elliott from Clarion and Associates, a land use planning consulting firm, will be offering a training to Delta County residents on land use. He will us to better understand the “language” of planning, so that we are ready to jump feet first, into the County’s land use regulation update process. The Delta County Planning Commission will also be available to answer questions and engage in dialogue about what planning is and how it impacts our lives, our properties, and our future.
You can go to www.deltacountyplan.com to keep up to date on the process, or keep your eyes on the Delta County Independent and High Country Shopper!
